As an integral part of our personnel development concept, the KOMET GROUP has been a network partner in the dynamic “high qualification community” set up by the Festo educational foundation.

The Festo educational foundation is the first initiative of a large German organisation which specifically promotes the vocational qualifications required for students and post graduate students by providing financial means to allow them to optimise their studies.

The Festo educational foundation finances living costs and course fees for students, post graduates seeking doctorates, post doctorate researchers and participants who are endeavouring to acquire a vocational qualification - in engineering and technology.

The Festo educational foundation aims to enable participants to concentrate exclusively on successful graduation and provide additional, vocationally relevant qualifications. This should allow study and research times to be reduced and participants’ qualifications to be increased.
Subsequent repayment depends purely on income, is limited to a maximum amount and is more flexible than with a student loan. The practical administration of the Festo education foundation is carried out by CareerConcept AG, the market leader in the area of student finance solutions.
