The IDEEN-FORUM+ 2018 discusses trends and arguments relating to adaptable production on the occasion of KOMET's 100th anniversary

Under the motto of "PEOPLE | IDEAS | TOOLS", high-calibre experts discuss the highly topical subject of "Trends and arguments relating to adaptable production" at the IDEEN-FORUM+ on 26th April 2018. Around 250 decision-makers from medium-sized and large companies take part in the leading conference for the manufacturing industry. The leading conference for the manufacturing industry impresses once again this year with a full schedule of talks and high-calibre experts from economic, scientific and engineering sectors.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Clemens Fuest (President of the ifo Institute) analyses Germany as a business location, taking account of digitisation, demographic changes and global competition. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Bauernhansl (Director of the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA, Director of the Institute of Industrial Manufacturing and Management IFF, University of Stuttgart) explains how the digital transformation can improve the adaptability of production. Christian Baudis (digitisation expert and former Google Germany Executive) outlines the digital mega trends of the future and provides an insight into big data and artificial intelligence. Fabian Kienbaum (Chief Empowerment Officer of Kienbaum Consultants International) explains the requirements for contemporary management behaviour in the era of increasing digitisation. Andreas Hoberg (Member of the Board at Ingenics AG) presents flexibilisation concepts for the automotive manufacturing sector and Dr. Christof Bönsch (former KOMET Managing Director) demonstrates why change is the new core skill as part of adaptable production. And Albrecht Reimold (Member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics at Porsche AG) provides an insight into the sports car of the future in his talk.
